Yep, I know a lot of folks have been contemplating on the fact that Dreamhost changed their File Manager from Net2Ftp to Ajaxplorer. Net2ftp was good and have all the things that you need most specially the capability to zip and unzip files and folders, and even copy files and folders seamlessly through its interface, but ever since Dreamhost decided to change it to Ajaxplorer, all hell broke loose.
Now you cannot copy, zip and unzip files which are some of the most used functions when managing your files on their webserver. The last resort that you can use is to course it through SSH. Now how to do that?
I just made a video and hopefully it helps out you guys out there who are also having problems using Dreamhost’s Ajaxplorer.
So simple right? If you have any questions, just drop them on the comments section below!
