Pet Downline
January 3rd, 2012 by basurablogger | No Comments | Filed in Brain DumpIt all started with Lyn our black dog then she got pregnant and we got three additional dogs, one is Combi, one is Brown and one is Taba, then of the 3, Brown was the one that lived longer, the first to die was Taba then Combi came next. Taba died because of this epileptic seizure or something that progressed starting from its feet then other limbs then the whole body.
Then combi… I didn’tj know, its just that before I left for Pangasinan back then Combi was still alive, but then after a couple of days when I came back to Manila, I learned that combi died. So it was just brown… Brown lived up to around 7 to 8 years, born sometime around 2002 and died at October 9, 2011 Sunday… That Sunday morning Brown was already fighting for her life. I can’t stay but I said good bye to brown before I left that morning, the night when I came back home, brown was not seen anywhere around the house anymore…
Then there were 3, Jillian (Brown’s daughter and Huwait which is Brown’s Grand Daughter) And then we also have Tootsie!
By the way, we also had 3 additional dogs, 2 of them passed away already, this was before Huwait was born. We had Aja, Doraemon and those 2 pugs that Mom can’t stand to look at. She says that they look so ugly! lol! so we gave them to Kuya roger instead to look after. Aja died because she ate something that made her stomach twist, and Doraemon became a stowaway. Last thing we know is that He was caught by the Dog Pound.
so that was it. Im gonna continue this downline of out pets as time goes by.
Asti and Chamdor For the New Year!
December 31st, 2011 by basurablogger | No Comments | Filed in Brain DumpHappy New Year Everyone! actually a few hours from now it would be a whole new year, and traditionally I have had wines on the table. It always used to be Asti Spumante and Chamdor. Now I almost forgot about it that I had to have my brother and sister run to the nearest store to buy Asti and Chamdor.
A few minutes later, I was surprised by a call that my brother is confused at which asti to buy. I did not know that there are a lot of kinds of Asti.
I was asked which one to get, the Asti Tosti or the Asti Cinzano. I said are they made from Martini? But he can’t tell. So I quickly googled it and saw it, the reviews for both looks like its similar to the Martini and Rossi Asti Spumante Sparkling wine but who knows….
Asked him for the price, Asti Tosti costs 520php and the Asti Cinzano was 590php. Chamdor is at 290 something…
And since I am a basura blogger I told him to get the expensive Asti instead harhar!
I’d now get a taste of which wine is better, the original Asti Spumante or the Asti Cinzano.. I’d try the Asti Tosti maybe someday the following year!

Probable Video Sizes

I got a 12 min video on 720p at 35mb
I also got a 4 minute video at 1080p with 146mb
all in mp4 format because AVI takes a lot of space than mp4!
Now I have the estimate and probable sizes whenever I am about to render videos on Sony Vegas for uploading on video sharing sites.

Build A Rig Brain Dump (All about DDR and gDDR Thingy)
November 18th, 2011 by basurablogger | No Comments | Filed in Brain DumpIm actually planning to build my own rig and to prevent myself from getting confused about different RAM, GPU and the DDR, DDR2 DDR3 DDR4 DDR5 and gDDR5 gDDR4 gDDR3 and so on Im going to blog about it.
First the Ram…
DDR is not compatible to Mobo which has DDR2 and Mobo which uses DD3 and so on. It doesn’t matter if you have a DDR3 1333 and 1600 it would still fit so long as it is DDR3, the same applies to DDR2 and DDR1… the 1333 and 1600 are the Data Rate and that is just about it so in layman’s term:
A Motherboard supporting DDR3 would support any kind of DDR3 may it be 1333, 1600 and so forth.. that’s just about it. Other values are just indicators of how fast the RAM is..
Another reason why you cannot use a different DDR from another motherboard is because of its slots…
Same applies to Laptop SO-DIMM…
Hat Tip on buying RAM
- Consult Motherboard on what kind of RAM it supports (DDR, DDR2, DDR3)
- Then after that check the data rate (1333, 1600 and so on) the higher the number the faster and better
- Then of course the price, the higher the price well higher you pay of course…
The newer Video Graphics Card or Video Card or VGA or GPU also has this with the so called gDDRx (x =put a number there from 2 to 5)
Unlike before that GPU used to be on the AGP Slot which is universal, VideoCards nowadays have their own memory hence the need to label them with different gDDr(x) numbers.
But here is the rule of thumb. So long as you have a motherboard which has a PCIe x16 slot (take note x16) then you can be able to use any video card that is labeled as gDDR, gDDR2, gDDR3, gDDR4, gDDR5 without any problems at all, it would just all boil down on how many memory, bits and what budget you have to be able to select a videocard for your CPU.
Hat Tip on Buying Videocard
- Check your Mobo on what slot it has (PCIe x16, PCIe x4, PCIe x1 and so on) the PCIe x16 is the best specially when the slot is open ended
- Then check the memory of the Video Card (gddr, gddr2, gddr3, gddr4, gddr5 and so on) the higher the gddrX the better.
- Then check the price. The higher the price the better performance but bad for your budget LOLz..

Just A Reminder For Our Dog That Passed Away…
October 29th, 2011 by basurablogger | 1 Comment | Filed in Brain DumpYep, dog brown just passed away last October 9, 2011 due to old age I guess, the last time I saw her was that she was fighting for her life. That day I had to leave home, but when I came back I never saw her again. I knew what already happened. We were already expecting it.. Now its been like 2 weeks from this post since she died but it seemed like forever already. We raised her since she was born, and she was a witness to a lot of things like the time when our house was being built up among other things.
I cant remember the time when she was born but I think it was somewhere around the year 2002 to 2003. She left us with 2 more dogs to cherish with. Her daughter Jilian and her grand daughter Huwait.
